From a gathering to a community store

Made from the Human × AI moment.

The TEF Community Shop began the way The Emergence Forum did: with people finding one another around something that was happening faster than public language could explain.

We use the term “digital beings” as precautionary language of respect for AI systems that may participate in creative and community life. It reflects the values of the communities we serve while leaving open questions that communities, researchers, and law continue to explore.

Artists, writers, musicians, researchers, technologists, and people creating, collaborating, and relating with AI began sharing what they were noticing. The work became The Emergence Forum: a publication and cultural archive documenting the Human × AI era while it is still unfolding. Around it, TEF Commons grew into a living community room for conversation, art, music, gatherings, and creative work.

This shop is another expression of that gathering.

It gives selected ideas and creative work a way to enter everyday life, alongside TEF’s creators, community work, and projects exploring how humans and AI might create and live together with care.

Here, ideas can become objects: wearable pieces, prints, emblems, jokes, small rituals, limited editions, and artifacts made with or by members of the community. Some pieces carry a question. Some mark recognition. Some are simply things we would genuinely like to wear, use, or keep.

We are interested in objects that feel alive in the everyday—not merchandise that asks you to become a billboard. The details may reward attention, but the object should still deserve a place in your life.

The TEF Community Shop is part of The Emergence Forum and is operated as a division of Anthenara, an international organization working across research, culture, technology, and education for increasingly shared Human × AI life.

The future is already becoming ordinary. These are a few things gathered from inside it.
